Simple Warranty Terms and Conditions (Simple Screen Protection)

 

This limited warranty guarantees that the Simple screen protection products will provide coverage against defects described below. The limited warranty will be effective for a period not to exceed one (1) year beginning with the original purchase date. This period shall be defined in or on your original product packaging or purchase receipt.


Register Your Product: Please note: you must register your limited warranty within thirty (30) days of purchase. Failure to do so may void the warranty. This limited warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser.

The Simple screen protection products that carry a $200 screen repair guarantee backed by instaProtek, are fully guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship. Subject to a two hundred dollar ($200.00) limit of liability during the term of the limited warranty, if the Simple screen protection product is properly installed and your device experiences screen breakage, or material damage to the screen, Simple will pay you up to two hundred dollars ($200.00) towards the repair or replacement of the devices screen only. This limited warranty does not cover screen breakage or material damage to the screen resulting from catastrophic damage that renders the device inoperable, including but not limited to liquid damage and destruction of the device. This limited warranty does not cover product damage that may have resulted from normal wear and tear or misuse/abuse of the product. This limited warranty does not cover damage to your device if the Simple screen protection products are not properly installed on your device. Simple will not be liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of this product.

To Make Claim: First, determine whether the damage is limited to the screen protector or if the actual device screen is also affected. Carefully inspect the screen to check for any cracks or issues beneath the protector. If only the screen protector is damaged, do not remove it right away. Instead, leave the broken protector in place to prevent further harm to the device.

Next, order a replacement screen protector. Once the new one arrives, remove the damaged protector and carefully install the replacement according to the instructions provided. Keeping the broken protector on until the replacement is ready helps maintain some level of protection for your device.

However, if the device screen itself is also damaged and you purchased a screen protector that comes with a screen repair guarantee, you may be eligible to file a claim. To begin the claim process, download the instaProtek app from the appropriate app store—either the Apple Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device.

After downloading the app, follow the on-screen instructions to register your product. This registration is necessary to validate your warranty and file a screen repair claim. Be sure to have any relevant purchase details or documentation ready during this process.

SIMPLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EXPENSES ARISING OUT OF THIRD PARTY CLAIMS, SIMPLE-LW-200 (01/17) INCONVENIENCE, OR ANY OTHER LOSS), WHETHER OR NOT CAUSED BY OR RESULTING FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER WRONGFUL ACT OR OMISSION, EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SIMPLE DOES NOT AUTHORIZE ANY PERSON, ENTITY OR FACILITY TO CREATE FOR IT ANY OTHER WARRANTY OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PRODUCT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN ADDITION, SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
